U.S. Marines AH-1W Super Cobra
Al Taqqadum, Iraq, 29 April 2004 —
Lance Cpl. Christopher M. Conklin (left), bulk refueling specialist, Marine Wing Support Squadron 374, Marine Wing Support Group 37, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and native of San Diego, assists Staff Sgt. Larry D. Heskett, aviation ordnance technician, MWSS-347, MWSG-37, 3rd MAW, an Oceanside, California native, in electrically grounding an AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter before refueling. The Marines who work at the Forward Arming and Refueling Point in Al Taqqadum, Iraq, provide 24-hour service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
