Al Taqqadum, Iraq, 29 April 2004 —
An AH-1W Super Cobra pilot waits patiently while Lance Cpl. Christopher M. Conklin, bulk refueling specialist, Marine Wing Support Squadron 374, Marine Wing Support Group 37, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and native of San Diego, delivers fuel in Al Taqqadum, Iraq. The 22-year-old is one of the Forward Arming and Refueling Point Marines who provide around-the-clock refueling capabilities to 3rd MAW aviation assets.
