Crete, Greece, 17 March 2004 — USNS Mount Baker (T-AE 34) approaches the pier as she arrives for a routine port visit at Souda Bay, Crete, Greece. Mount Baker is one of Military Sealift Command’s six Ammunition Ships and is part of the 36 ships in the Naval Fleet Auxiliary Force (NFAF). These ships perform underway replenishment services for Navy battle groups and deliver food, fuel, spare parts and ammunition.
