El Paso Texas, 17 June 2000 An Mi-24 "Hind" attack helicopter, operated by the U.S. Army's Threat Support Activity at Biggs Army Air Field, El Paso, Texas, patrols the desert in search of "targets" to attack during Roving Sands 2000 on 17 June. Roving Sands is a multi-national joint theater air and missile defense field training exercise focused on planning and executing Joint Tactical Air Operations integrated air defense of a Joint Task Force.
