The Arabian Gulf, 31 August 2001 — Search and Rescue swimmers (SAR) assigned to the guided missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) perform helicopter recovery exercises during regular training. Philippine Sea is in the Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch.
