USS Peleliu, 13 January 2002 — A Marine CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter touches down on the flight deck here after flying from Kandahar International Airport. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) has completed its retrograde from Afghanistan after conducting operations in the area since September during Operation Enduring Freedom.
