U.S. Navy HH-60H Seahawk

7th Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR), 18 February 2004 — An HH-60H Seahawk assigned to the “Chargers” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron One Four (HS-14), lands on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). HH-60H Seahawks are used for a variety of operations including combat search and rescue, naval special warfare support and vertical replenishment. Currently under way in the 7th Fleet AOR, Kitty Hawk is the United State’s only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, operating from Yokosuka, Japan.
