Sri Lanka, 10 January 2005 — A CH-46 with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) carries humanitarian aid supplies from the USS Duluth (LPD 6) to an air field here while Marines of the same unit standby to distribute the supplies. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) provided desperately needed humanitarian aid to cities and villages along Sri Lanka’s southern coastline.
