Ellington Field, Texas, 25 September 2005 — An Army CH-47 Chinook takes off from here to deliver food and water supplies to an airfield in Hawthorn, Texas. Aircraft activity increased dramatically here in support of Hurricane Rita relief efforts. Active duty, Guard and Reserve components of the Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard are here in support of Joint Task Force-Rita.
