Leyte Gulf, Philippines, 19 February 2006 — USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) sailors and Marines move to load relief supplies aboard a CH-46E Sea Knight on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship. Harpers Ferry, along with USS Essex (LHD 2) and USS Curtis Wilber (DDG 54), is en route to Leyte to provide assistance for recent mudslide victims.
