CH-46 Sea Knight

Persian Gulf, 5 March 1998 — Petty Officer 1st Class John T. Brown directs a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter toward the flight deck of the USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) during a vertical replenishment on March 5, 1998, in the Persian Gulf. The Arleigh Burke class destroyer is the conducting Maritime Interception Operations the Gulf as part of a force augmentation in the region. The McCain is home-ported in Yokosuka, Japan.
