U.S. Navy SH-60 Seahawk

The Atlantic Ocean, 02 October 1999 — An SH-60 Seahawk from Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron One Five (HS-15) aboard USS George Washington (CVN 73) responds to a distress signal from the Coastal Sun, a Norfolk, Virginia, based tugboat that was rapidly taking on water off the Florida coast. Navy personnel provided dewatering pumps and the tug was able to return to port safely. George Washington was conducting carrier qualifications in the area.
